Baby Goat Season

Pescadero, California

Want to see something cute-as-can-be? Head to Harley Farms to visit the adorable newborn baby goats! Bred at Harley Farms last fall, the first of the babies were born in early March, making an endearing addition to the farm’s already impressive herd of goats (the farm has grown from six goats in 1910 to over 200 goats a century later). Lucky visitors might even get a chance to see the babies as they feed, learn to walk and talk, and play around the farm. For maximum cuteness, we suggest visiting Harley Farms now through May to see the goats before they start to get much bigger. After all, what can make you say ‘aww’ better than a flock of baby goats? Goats aren’t the only animals you’ll find at Harley Farms. Llamas, ducks and chickens are among the other animals living here too. No trip to Harley Farms would be complete without a tour of the grounds, where visitors can get hands on as they milk a goat and learn how to make tasty goat cheese. While you’re there, be sure to check out the Harley Farms Shop and taste some of the award-winning goat cheese made right on the farm. Be sure to sign up for a tour, as it can get pretty busy!
