Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival Music – Bay Area

Live music is a central part of the Pumpkin Festival October 18th & 19 with bands on the Main Stage, The Gezebo, The Made on the Coast Artist Area, and on the streets of Half Moon Bay.

Main Stage/IDES Grounds

  • Jim Stevens & Friends 9:30 Sat. & 9 Sun. – signature folk tunes, including local favorites about pumpkins and Half Moon Bay.
  • The California Cowboys – 11 Sat. – classic country favorites & rowdy, foot-stompin’ original tunes.
  • Shana Morrison – 1:30 Sat. – pop with a side of blues and a side of rock.
  • Bump City -3:30 Sat. – a tribute to the legendary urban soul band, Tower of Power.
  • Claddagh – 10 Sun. – a mix of Americana, Celtic & rock music.
  • The Inciters – 11:45 Sun.– Northern Soul Music
  • Extra Large – 1:30 Sun.– a cool blend of the funk, reggae riffs, Latin beats, essence of jazz and soul.
  • Caravanserai – 3:30 Sun.– a replication of the music of legendary Rodk and Roll Hall of Fame band Santana.

Ritz Carlton South Stage at The Gazebo

  • Ticket to ride – 9:30 Sat. – a lively and fun tribute to the music of The Beatles.
  • Rockin’ Down The Hiway – 12:30 – a celebration of the world of hot rods, cruising, road trips, & highways.
  • Wendy DeWitt – 9:30 Sun. – blues from the San Francisco Queen of Boogie Woogie.
  • The Daniel Castro Band – 12:30 Sun. – a guitarist and singer/songwriter grounded in the very best blues traditions

Street Performers Performing throughout town.

  • Bob Culbertson – the musical style on Chapman Stick ranging from light jazz with folk & blues flavor to classical with Spanish, contemporary, & traditional influences.
  • The GroWiser Band – arrangements of jazzy soul wit a touch of blues & reggae.
  • John Clarke – acoustic guitar ranging from classical, Spanish, and world fusion.
  • HeartStrongs Music – romantic ballads & traditional tunes on mandolin and guitar.

The ‘Made on the Coast’ (MOTC) Artists’ Group

  • Alec Lytle & Them RoundersKicking- From9:30 to 10:45 A.M.featuring acoustic guitar, upright bass, mandolin, and an old crate, the band plays Americana-influenced acoustic music.
  • Califuegos – From 11:15 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. serves a smoking blend of rock, surf, country, cumbia, and norteño, including songs from their just-released debut CD.
  • King Cajun & The Country Gentlemen – From 1:00 to 2:15 P.M. offers an eclectic mix of genres from jazz, western swing, and delta blues to folk, rock, and country, the band is known for its Latin and jazz rhythms played on the cajon, a Peruvian percussion instrument.
  • Chinese Melodrama – From 2:45 to 4:00 P.M. is an guitar-and violin acoustic rock duo with original compositions and unique interpretations of rock classics, this delivers creative sounds and memorable lyrics that appeal to audiences of all ages.

There are still rooms available in Hotels, Motels, & B&B’s for any who want to spend the weekend.
