From Pescadero to Montara, shopping on the Coastside offers a wide variety of stores from which to choose. Here are some special events and openings to consider for a day or a weekend on the Coastside.

Crow's Nest
Crow's Nest, a recently opened women's boutique has a plethora of designer cashmere sweaters, dresses, knits, outerwear and denim. They're making a huge fashion splash on Main Street.January will bring the annual winter sale and February's shoppers will discover spring collections from contemporary labels like James Perse, McGinn and Milly.

Hot Glass Hearts
Just in time for Valentine's Day, visitors can head to Half Moon Bay Art Glass in January and February to create hand blown glass hearts for the ones they love. During the hot glass class, students will gather hot glass from the furnace, color it and then shape it into the heart of their dreams.

Oddyssea
Already known as an interactive retail experience, the store is taking that mission to the next level by transforming a neighboring lot into a garden setting that will also allow local artists and craftsmen to display their work and give tutorials. Coming in time for spring, Oddyssea is developing an expansive outdoor space for terrarium projects along with art and science workshops. The outdoor area will feature a life-size version of a shipwreck complete with a mast, sails and treasures.
