The Chamber has Ambassadors who help with events and function as an extension of Chamber staff. The committee is also responsible for planning all the Network­@­Night mixer events throughout the year. They decide on themes, locations, and fun ideas to enhance events to be the best a Chamber can offer. Ambassadors are also a volunteer base for all Chamber events.

Ginger Minoletti – Committee Chair

Bay World Travel

Ginger Child Minoletti began her travel career in 1987 and has been the owner of Bay World Travel since 1997. The business has been a member of the Chamber for 19 years and Ginger has participated in Chamber activities during that time. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay, Community United Methodist Church, and the Half Moon Bay Yacht Club. Ginger and Bay World Travel have been strong supporters of the Boys and Girls Club, local sports teams, Coastal Rep Theatre, Senior Coastsiders and most every non-profit that asks for help.

In addition to her community activities, she serves as Treasurer of ASTA (the American Society of Travel Agents) and is President of the Board of WESTA (Western Association of Travel Agents).  She and her husband Paul have a grown son Chris, who has been working in the agency for the past two years.  He is in charge of business development and is assisting with marketing. In a challenging business climate, she feels very grateful that she works and serves in a community that is so supportive of local business.

Betty Broglio

Edward Jones

Betty Broglio was born and raised in the East Bay.  She worked in the banking industry until leaving as operations officer to start her family.  Relocating from Crockett and spending three years in Salt Lake City another move  brought Betty back to California settling in Half Moon Bay in 1983.

Her sons school years were spent volunteering as PTO president, Cub Scout Den leader, Pumpkin Festival etc. Attending Canada College   she received a Retail Travel certificate. She became Manager of an Agency in Millbrae and later VP of Mercury, the Guide of Travel in HMB, when she joined the Chamber becoming an Ambassador in 1996.

In 1999 Betty started her current position as Senior Branch Office Administrator with Edward Jones, first with Howard Hayes and now working with Warren Barmore. In 2008 she was presented with the Lifetime Ambassador Award. Betty enjoys traveling, knitting and puzzles.

Her son Sergio is in the Air Force in stationed in Germany with his wife and sons, Corbin and Tristan.  Her son Nicolas lives in Half Moon Bay and is the Asst. General Manager of The Residence Inn in So. San Francisco.

Joanne Gee Goertzen

Joanne Gee Goertzen was previously a Senior Project Manager for AT&T in San Francisco.  She has held volunteer positions with Palo Alto Art Center; among them: event planner/manager and member of the PAAC Foundation board.  Along with being a Chamber Ambassador, she serves as a member of the Ocean Colony Association Traffic & Risk Management Committee.

Kirsten Jaeb

Kirsten Hagen Jaeb began her real estate career in 2005 and has been Broker Associate with Alain Pinel Realtors since January, 2014. Previously she spent 15+ years in the software industry in various management, marketing, technical support and programming positions. She joined the Chamber in 2015 and as a new member became involved as an Ambassador. She is a member of Community United Methodist Church and is a Stephen Ministry Leader. She is a board member for the United States Naval Academy Northern California Parents Club. Kirsten has been a strong supporter of the Half Moon Bay High School Spring Musical and Grad Night, Coastal Rep Theatre, No Strings Attached Breakfast, Sierra Service Project, Half Moon Bay Little League, Junipero Serra High School Water Polo and Parents Club, and many other local non-profit organizations. Kirsten has 3 wonderful sons. The eldest, Will, is preparing to graduate from Cal Poly, Brennen is enjoying his experience at the United States Naval Academy, and Logan is a student at Half Moon Bay High School. Kirsten is grateful every day that she has the opportunity to live and grow her business in this gorgeous community filled with so many accomplished, generous and involved people.

Robin Kirby

Robin Kirby is a real estate professional with Alain Pinel Realtors and truly enjoys working with her buyers and sellers along the Coast. Prior to moving into the field of real estate, Robin was the Vice President of Global Client Services for a Logistics Software company. Robin received her Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and her Masters from Denver University.
Along with her passion for Real Estate, Robin enjoys home remodeling projects, interior design and power-walking on the beach. She is a docent and Stewardship Committee member for the Coastside Land Trust, is an active volunteer for the Senior Coastsiders, is the Event Chair for the Stanford Coastside Club, and is a Committee Lead for the Half Moon Bay History Association. She is excited about leveraging her position as an Ambassador with the Chamber of Commerce to further assist the residents and businesses in the Coastside community that she loves so much.

Heidi Kuiper

Heidi Kuiper has worked for State Farm Insurance in different job capacities since 1975. She opened her State Farm Agency in Half Moon Bay in 2001. Heidi has served on the Ambassador Committee since 2002, was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2003, and was appointed to the Executive Board Committee in 2004. Heidi also chaired the Rock the Block community event for 3 years.

Heidi has served on the Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee in charge of the Pumpkin Festival Merchandise Booth for the last 5 years and is now a HMB Beautification Board member. Heidi also contributes to HMB Little League, HMB High School sports sponsorships and many non-profits.

Heidi feels very blessed to have her home and business in such a wonderful and close knit community. The referrals and connections she has made through being a part of the Chamber have helped her business greatly.

Peggy Milne

Peggy Milne grew up in Toronto, and has lived in Half Moon Bay for the past 20 years. She owns Home Helpers In Home Care with her husband Mitch Williams.

Peggy has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Her passion for helping other families deal with their aging loved ones comes from the example of her mother who cared for several older relatives as Peggy was growing up. Peggy is committed to helping people in Half Moon Bay and the Coastside community at large.  


Shana Riley Pond

First National Bank of Northern California

Many know Shana Reilly-Pond by her nickname “Rusty.”  She’s married and has a 17 year old daughter, a senior at Half Moon Bay High School. Throughout her 30+ years in banking and finance, she has been very involved in the communities she lives and works in. 

As treasurer of her chapter of United Way and local merchants association to president of a ladies business networking group and chamber of commerce member and ambassador, she has enjoyed combining community service with business.  She’s chosen to volunteer at organizations with which she shares mission and vision such as American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Peninsula Humane Society, Project Open Hand and Habitat for Humanity. 

Shana has been a Half Moon Bay resident for 12+ years and serves on the finance committee as well as Vice Chairman at Mariners Community Church where she’s attended since moving to the coast.  She is also a new Rotarian, active with the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay. 

Recently, Shana accepted the opportunity as Vice President & Branch Manager at First National Bank leading the Half Moon Bay and Pescadero teams which she says is a joy and great honor, to finally work in the community she loves and being afforded the privilege to spend more time serving it!

This wing-shaped bone right underneath the skull protects the “wires” of the communication network that connect the brain, spine, and body.
