AAUW April Meeting: Birds of the Coastside

AAUW's featured speaker for April is local wildlife photographer Donna Pomeroy. Her vibrant photography is regularly featured in the Sequoia Audubon Society newsletter. In her presentation, "Birds of the Coastside," Donna will share her keen interest in identifying birds in our area, as well as her stunning photography. Donna and her husband Doug Pomeroy were featured in the cover story of the Half Moon Bay Review’s magazine in January – "Taking Count" – which describes the Audubon Society’s annual bird count. With a degree in Wildlife Management and a photographer, Donna now spends much of her time photographing wildlife and volunteering for Sequoia Audubon Society. A longtime resident of El Granada, Donna also volunteers for the California Academy of Sciences' inter-tidal monitoring project at Pillar Point, as well as many other citizen science projects. Please join us for this interesting presentation.
