HEAL Project's 9th Annual Spring Ahead
The HEAL Project presents its 9th Annual Spring Ahead on March 20th 2019, at 6:30pm at the new Pasta Moon location in the former Half Moon Bay Growers’ Exchange Building at 845 Main Street in Half Moon Bay. Some of the finest chefs on the San Mateo County Coast will create this fabulous 5-course strolling supper showcasing ingredients grown by local farmers and ranchers. Local celebrity chefs include Kim Levin of Pasta Moon, Scott Clark of Dad’s Luncheonette, Ursula Schnyder of Sweet 55, Aaron Little of The Cove, and Roberto Rodriguez of Mullins Bar & Grill.

A different chef will prepare each delicious course using the variety of ingredients from Coastside farms, ranches and fisheries, including The HEAL Project’s own San Mateo County School Farm. The evening will feature live music, a silent auction, a specialty cocktail and local beer and wine. The HEAL Project teaches over 4,000 students every year where their food comes from and why it matters through hands-on farm and garden-based education and in school garden classrooms and at their San Mateo County School Farm.
