Ambassadors

The Chamber has Ambassadors who help with events and function as an extension of Chamber staff. The committee is also responsible for planning all the Network­@­Night mixer events throughout the year. They decide on themes, locations, and fun ideas to enhance events to be the best a Chamber can offer. Ambassadors are also a volunteer base for all Chamber events.

Ginger Minoletti – Committee Chair

Bay World Travel

Ginger Child Minoletti began her travel career in 1987 and has been the owner of Bay World Travel since 1997. The business has been a member of the Chamber for 19 years and Ginger has participated in Chamber activities during that time. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay, Community United Methodist Church, and the Half Moon Bay Yacht Club. Ginger and Bay World Travel have been strong supporters of the Boys and Girls Club, local sports teams, Coastal Rep Theatre, Senior Coastsiders and most every non-profit that asks for help.

In addition to her community activities, she serves as Treasurer of ASTA (the American Society of Travel Agents) and is President of the Board of WESTA (Western Association of Travel Agents).  She and her husband Paul have a grown son Chris, who has been working in the agency for the past two years.  He is in charge of business development and is assisting with marketing. In a challenging business climate, she feels very grateful that she works and serves in a community that is so supportive of local business.

Betty Broglio

Edward Jones

Betty Broglio was born and raised in the East Bay.  She worked in the banking industry until leaving as operations officer to start her family.  Relocating from Crockett and spending three years in Salt Lake City another move  brought Betty back to California settling in Half Moon Bay in 1983.

Her sons school years were spent volunteering as PTO president, Cub Scout Den leader, Pumpkin Festival etc. Attending Canada College   she received a Retail Travel certificate. She became Manager of an Agency in Millbrae and later VP of Mercury, the Guide of Travel in HMB, when she joined the Chamber becoming an Ambassador in 1996.

In 1999 Betty started her current position as Senior Branch Office Administrator with Edward Jones, first with Howard Hayes and now working with Warren Barmore. In 2008 she was presented with the Lifetime Ambassador Award. Betty enjoys traveling, knitting and puzzles.

Her son Sergio is in the Air Force in stationed in Germany with his wife and sons, Corbin and Tristan.  Her son Nicolas lives in Half Moon Bay and is the Asst. General Manager of The Residence Inn in So. San Francisco.

Peggy Milne

Home Helpers In Home Care

Peggy Milne grew up in Toronto, and has lived in Half Moon Bay for the past 20 years. She owns Home Helpers In Home Care with her husband Mitch Williams.

Peggy has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Her passion for helping other families deal with their aging loved ones comes from the example of her mother who cared for several older relatives as Peggy was growing up. Peggy is committed to helping people in Half Moon Bay and the Coastside community at large.  

 

Dianne Passen

HMB Media

Dianne Passen is a seasoned multi-media specialist with a particular focus in online video.  Her passion for discovering what motivates people started at her first management job during summers at Cedar Point in Ohio.
 
After graduating with a degree in marketing from Miami University, she discovered the Pacific Ocean and has been living and hiking the West Coast ever since.  For a gazillion years Dianne worked over the hill in a staffing company that leaped from start-up to national network in what seemed like days.  
 
As owner of HMB Media, she works with a wide network of talented audio and visual folks to create videos that help people strengthen relationships, organizations to communicate ideas and businesses to grow.

Dianne loves everything (almost) about the Half Moon Bay Coastal Community and believes that it is an honor and a privilege to serve on the Board of Directors for the Chamber. 

Martha Longhi

Martha Longhi is a Realtor® that epitomizes integrity, energy, hard work and enthusiasm. She has an outstanding reputation for marketing and selling residential properties with elegance, excellence and panache.

Martha grew up in the Cleveland Heights area of Oakland. She had a care free childhood, surrounded by family, friends and great neighbors. She walked to school every day, rode her bike around Lake Merritt regularly, and played with the neighborhood kids.

When Martha became a mother, she wanted her kid’s childhood to be rooted in the same foundation of community that she experienced. She turned to real estate after her divorce in 1990 to accomplish that goal and successfully laid the foundation for her financial growth by purchasing a small home in Redwood City. One of the best decisions and investments she has made in her life!

Throughout Martha’s career she has been a valuable and productive asset to several corporations. In her final position, prior to becoming a Realtor®, Martha was a core member of a highly successful biotech start-up named SUGEN, Inc.  At SUGEN she supported executive and middle management, scientists and researchers for over 11 years.  As the company grew she became the driving force behind setting up and managing the company's Creative Services department. Martha managed the needs of over 250 core members at SUGEN and was highly regarded by management and colleagues alike. It was at SUGEN where Martha met her now husband, Michael. 

In 2013 after living in the little Redwood City house for 23 years Martha and Mike found their dream property in the coastal community of La Honda. There they enjoy plenty of outdoor activities; biking, hiking, gardening, but most especially spending time caring for their many rescued animals. An equine enthusiast since birth, Martha now has the privilege of caring for her two rescued horses on their property, along with 3 dogs and 2 cats, koi fish and a variety of wildlife that likes to stop by and say hello.  It had been Martha’s life-long dream to have a ranch and care for animals. Because of her perseverance, hard work, professional relationships, and dedication to that dream, she accomplished it through working and succeeding in the field of real estate.
