Screenwriter Kario Salem on Chasing Mavericks

Actor and screenwriter Kario Salem took inspiration from the emotional journey and the courage of the characters in Chasing Mavericks. A surfer himself, Salem’s script is inspired by Half Moon Bay and its natural beauty. He took a moment during the premier of Chasing Mavericks to expand on is film and its impact on viewers.
