Each October, the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival attracts attention from not only local farmers but nationally. From pie eating contest to live music and vendors of all kinds, there’s plenty of fun for the entire family. Costume contests and of course Safeway Pumpkin Weigh-Off where the winner stands to take home a sizable prize in addition to a remarkable gourd.
