Peter Mel, Greg Long and Zach Wormhoudt attended the premiere of Chasing Mavericks, the film documenting the journey of Jay Moriarty and Frosty Hesson and the surfing legends of the break at Mavericks. All three are remarkable sultans of the surf; raised by surfers, Peter Mel was also recently Crowned Big Wave World Tour Champion, Greg Long won Quiksilver Big Wave Invitational and the Maverick’s Surf Contest, in addition to the Red Bull Big Wave Africa and surf marvel Zach Wormhoudt who also stars in the film. The three athletes took a few minutes to talk about their memories of Half Moon Bay and the most exciting waters on the coast.
