Mirada Art is an artist-founded gallery on historic Main Street in the heart of downtown Half Moon Bay. Founded in 2017, it was built a little differently: a space where artists own their work, keep the majority of their sales, and show alongside peers whose work they respect.
Mirada Art treats art as a conversation between the artist and the collector, and believes that conversation goes deeper when there’s a real idea behind a show. Not just a rotation of work, but a curated exhibition with a point of view. Each exhibition is built around a central theme, with storytelling on the walls and online that gives collectors a genuine way into the work and the people who made it.
Exhibitions feature painters, photographers, jewelers, and textile artists, all connected to this community and this coast. Visitors will often find the artists in the gallery, ready to talk about their work and their process. That’s part of what makes a stop at Mirada Art worth the time.
Exhibitions rotate every four weeks. Check the Mirada Art website to see the current show, browse the artists, or view the full exhibition calendar to plan a visit.
Mirada Art is always looking to grow. Artists interested in showing with the gallery are encouraged to reach out.
