I recently had my vow renewal at San Benito House (SBH) and it was absolutely amazing. First off, I was already planning my event at another venue up the street. I ended up canceling my event there and was thankfully able to have my event at San Benito House. The service we received from Elke and team was exceptional from the start. Planning the event was very easy due to the options that SBH offered in terms of menu, vendor and staff coordination, along with working with us and our vision for this event. The menu we picked was BBQ and every single dish was so good. We had visited the Cantina multiple times but had never known the extent of the BBQ. Come to find out, Elke not only plans and executes events, but also prepares amazing food. All of our guests complimented the food, venue and the great staff. Another benefit was the rooms above the bar at the Inn were back open so guests were able to experience the fresh decor. All in all exceptional from beginning to end. Thank you Elke, Maurice, and SBH team.

San Benito House and Downtown Half Moon Bay are a must visit. Over the years my wife and I have been visiting this area and always have the best time. In addition to the frequent live music and great food, I have to say San Benito's accommodations are really top-notch. It's clear that the owners went above and beyond with their recent remodel. For a quick get away from the City, this certainly fits the bill. Keep up the good work San Benito!

I recently had the best overnight stay here! Room was spacious (double suite) and beautifully appointed. Gorgeous wallpaper and wainscoting everywhere. Each room had its own temperature control - nice!! Also dined at the restaurant and highly recommend the shrimp cocktail and gulf shrimp tacos. Huge shrimp on both!
