Overall, I had a good stay at the Quality Inn in Half Moon Bay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure, which is always appreciated after a day of traveling. I’ve always believed that if you go looking for something to be wrong, you’ll usually find it, so I try to focus on the overall experience rather than small imperfections. Unfortunately, there was one issue that was difficult to overlook—a clump of dark hair in the corner of the bathroom when I arrived. It was disappointing because the rest of the room appeared clean. The complimentary breakfast was what you’d expect from a traditional continental breakfast, with bagels, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and a waffle maker, which provided a nice variety to start the day. Overall, despite the bathroom issue, the stay was comfortable. With a little more attention to detail during housekeeping, this would have been an easy 5-star experience.

Great location. Loved the secluded beach for some quiet time. Breakfast is ok, just no eggs, bacon or sausage; but was still good. Customer service was great and efficient. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice staff, rooms are comfortable and clean. Good continental breakfast, in room coffee. Very comfortable bed. Good location near lots of good restaurants and bike trails.
