For context we stayed in room 2 (Purisima). One of the rooms on the first floor.
The good:
-property is nice and well taken care of
-property is located walking distance to everything in downtown
-rooms and communal area are clean and tidy
-mobile check in/out is super easy and really convenient
-unique rooms
The bad:
-first floor rooms don’t have much privacy from the surrounding courtyard. Basically have to keep windows blinds closed or people outside can see right into your room, just a few feet away from your bathroom/shower window.
-no A/C, which is common in costal areas. However, the room we were in on the first floor did not really allow us to keep the windows open to cool down the room at night. The windows are old wooden style windows that don’t have screens. So not only can people see into your room, but bugs come in as well. They had one tower fan in our room.
-room we stayed in was pretty small.
-no fridge in room. We had an infant and planned to store breast milk in the fridge. Thankfully we brought a cooler.
-only had hot water half the time we showered. Hot water heater is not sized properly to how many people can be staying at the property when it is full.
Overall, I think there are better options around the area at this price point. Thankful for the experience and location but not in a hurry to return.
