We had a lovely, relaxing, and peaceful stay at the Inn at San Benito House, and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. It's a boutique property of seven individual rooms, each with their own private full bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was tastefully decorated, and careful attention was paid to the little details. It was incredibly quiet throughout the evening. We cannot wait to return.

Lovely little place with so much charm. Cantina food and hospitality is 10/10. The options for outdoor dining, nighttime bonfires, and peaceful garden vibes really make this inn special. I can see weddings, business events and more happening here! Each room is a little different. I slept in #207 ensuite office style- bridal suite style room that faces the front of the building. Gorgeous natural light which I think the vanity should face as it would enhance the getting ready experience (Has a private bedroom and shared bath) The fold out bed is too small for the average adult but was ok for one night as I am only 5’2” and 120 lbs. The heated toilet seat and bidet are honorable mentions. The town is very walkable, bike-able and 10 min drives to the beach is perfect! It was a busy weekend with families visiting and a live band so you have a diverse range of experiences awaiting. Hope to be back soon! Thanks for having us 🫶🏾

I recently had the privilege of attending an event at the San Benito House in Half Moon Bay, where I also had the opportunity to offer a Sound Bath. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the incredible team behind the scenes. Everyone—from the groundskeepers and maintenance staff to the event coordinators and restaurant team—clearly takes pride in creating a welcoming and beautiful experience. The property itself is absolutely charming. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with spacious outdoor gathering areas, picnic tables, and a lovely stage overlooking the lawn that’s perfect for live music, wellness events, and community gatherings. The historic character of the buildings has been thoughtfully preserved while providing comfortable, beautifully renovated spaces. The food was excellent, whether you’re stopping by for a sandwich from the deli or enjoying something from the full restaurant menu. The indoor and outdoor bars create a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and the margaritas are exceptional! What stood out to me most was the genuine hospitality. Every person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and committed to making guests feel welcome. It’s easy to see why so many people choose San Benito House for dining, events, and celebrations. If you’re looking for a place with history, beauty, outstanding food, and an amazing staff, I highly recommend visiting the San Benito House. I look forward to returning again soon.

If you want to get away and feel like you traveled outside the bay area, this is the place to stay at. The rooms are amazing and the atmosphere is like no other. There's something magical about this place.
