The location is perfect. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. We loved the patio and view, enjoyed little birds and bunnies each morning on it! The staff were friendly and welcoming!

We needed a quick relaxing trip. We had some disappointments during our visit. The standup lamp in our room did not work. The light at the top of the stairs from the beach did not work, making it hard to get through the gate. I asked at the front desk for washcloths and received cleaning rags, after having to interrupt their personal chat. The good - breakfast was amazing, so many local foods! We enjoyed our room, the separate seating area and balcony allowed us to relax, read our books and play some cards. We enjoyed the hot tub and the robes. The free wifi was strong and reliable. We enjoyed the restaurant and to-do recommendations.

UPDATE: I edited my 1 star to a 4 star because upper management had reached out to me and thankfully resolved the situation with the room. I appreciate that the hotel looks after its guest even after their stay! — Unfortunately, as I am staying at the hotel this morning, we woke up to our nextdoor neighbor smoking on the balcony. We saw them with their lighters and cigarettes. The smell was so bad, it permeated our entire room. We paid $698 on a Friday to get an open ocean view for fresh air, however, when we called the front desk, nothing could have been done about this except a knock on their door to which no surprise, they did not answer. I'm currently pregnant and Brandon the front desk, confirmed that no smoking is allowed. Just very disappointed all around, the view is great, but the balconies are unfortunately too close to each other to enjoy if your neighbors are not following the rules. I was not offered to change rooms or any other accommodation, especially since I am pregnant, and we are adamantly non-smokers in a non-smoking hotel. So I am currently up at 5 am writing this review very upset.

We really loved our stay at The Beach House! The staff were helpful & kind. The pastries at breakfast were delicious, the pool & spa were the perfect temperatures.
