Absolutely loved this place!!! It feels much more like a charming bed and breakfast than a traditional hotel, which made our stay feel extra special! We were greeted so warmly upon arrival, complete with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies! The staff took the time to thoroughly explain the property’s amenities and even gave us helpful instructions for walking down to the absolutely stunning nearby beach. We arrived in the early afternoon, just in time to experience low tide, which was incredible! Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast the following morning, delivered right to our room in a basket! Such a fun and memorable experience for my daughter and me! We opened the sliding door and enjoyed our breakfast while listening to the sound of the ocean. It was absolutely wonderful! A couple of things worth knowing before your stay: Our room did not have air conditioning, so keep that in mind if you enjoy a cooler sleeping environment. We also discovered that the fireplace warms the room very quickly, so I would recommend not leaving it on too long! Another thing to be aware of is that there is no staff physically on site overnight. I believe the property is unstaffed from approximately 8 PM until 7 AM, although they do provide a phone number for emergencies. Since this was a mother and daughter trip, I admittedly felt a little uncomfortable with that arrangement. Thankfully, we had no issues at all, and everything worked out beautifully. However, definitely would have felt more comfortable knowing a staff member was always on site. Despite those two considerations, the incredible charm, thoughtful hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and unique touches made this such a special experience. It truly felt like a hidden gem, and I would absolutely love to return! Such a memorable stay with my daughter!

We stayed at the Seal Cove Inn to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. It was an excellent choice. We felt like we were transported to another time and place in this beautiful seaside Inn. The Inn was spotless, welcoming, and cozy. The staff made you feel at home at once. Our room was spacious with our own private balcony and the views from the balcony of the gardens were amazing. The Inn provides direct and short walking access to Fitzgerald Marine Preserve, the Cypress Forest, the Bluff Trail overlooking the ocean, a staircase down to the beach and tidepools, and Moss Beach Distillery (a wonderful restaurant, with great food and a live band, reminiscent of the old San Francisco Cliff House). The breakfast, which we chose to have in our room, was elegant and delicious! It was a delightful and enchanted place. We plan to return for our 50th anniversary!
