Marina Segatti will present her research on politics and gender in Brazil. Segatti is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Feminist Studies with designated emphases in Latin American & Latino Studies and Critical Race & Ethnic Studies at the University of California Santa Cruz. Her goal is to contribute significantly to discussions on neoconservatism, the impact of gender and sexual normativity on democracy, and today’s evolving media landscape.
