Once a year, the working Coastside opens its doors. For the 35th time, Farms, Fish & Flowers invites the public behind the fences and greenhouse walls of Half Moon Bay’s nurseries, farms, historic ranches, and working harbor — places that stay closed to visitors the rest of the year.

This isn’t a staged tour. It’s a real look at how the coast actually works: organic herbs and field greens, a working dairy, flower gardens tended by hand, and a harbor that still sends boats out for a living. Growers walk you through what they raise, share what keeps an operation running season after season, and tell the family stories that shaped the land you’re standing on.

Tickets are $20 per property, with locations grouped into three time slots across the day — so you can make a morning of it or stay for all three. Come for one stop. Stay for the day.

Members of the community are invited to submit local events for our community calendar.

All events will be manually reviewed by our staff before they are added to the site; most events are approved within one business day. Events occurring outside of the Coastside (between Año Nuevo and Devil’s Slide) will not be approved.

You’ll need to log in or register a new account to submit events.
