Vaquero Day returns with a full day of riding, music, and family fun celebrating equestrian culture and the heritage of the West. The ride begins at 11:00 AM from 110 Higgins Canyon Road, winds through the Coastal Trail and beach, then arrives at the Main Street around 2:00 PM before returning to the starting point.
The festivities continue with live music, rodeo-style demonstrations, food vendors, and kids’ activities. Last year’s event brought over 100 horses, and organizers hope to make this year even bigger—so all local riders are encouraged to saddle up and join in. Whether you’re a lifelong vaquero or just here for the good food and music, Vaquero Day offers a spirited taste of California’s cowboy traditions.
