Kings Mountain Art Fair

Amid the Redwoods off Skyline Blvd you’ll find the Kings Mountain Art Fair.

The Kings Mountain Art Fair is held annually every Labor Day weekend, as local artists, musicians and vendors fill the area with their works. This lovely spot is found among the Redwoods on Skyline Blvd off Highway 92 above Woodside from the east and La Honda from the west. It’s antique location showcasing unique “juried” Art and Mountain Folk Art.

The Mountain Folk Art showcases local talent from professional fine artists and craftspeople. The artists sell wooden toys, jewelry, paintings, abstract photography, nature crafts, Soaps, oils, jams and jellies, plus much more. Even if you don’t purchase anything, just walking among the redwoods and viewing the magnificent paintings is worth the drive.

Proceeds for this non-corporate-funded event go to the Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade (whose firehouse was constructed with art fair revenue!). This event is a hallmark community effort on behalf of the community, but outsiders are always welcome!

Please visit the official website for more information.

You can drive up for the day, but you can make a fun weekend of it by staying overnight in Half Moon Bay.
