Alex Makeev is a pianist, guitarist, percussionist, and composer/arranger based in the Bay Area. A winner of the 47th annual Downbeat Student Big Band Arrangement Competition and a Jazz at the Ballroom piano scholarship recipient, he blends elements of jazz, indie, rock, hip-hop, and pop to create a unique and dynamic sound.

The San Mateo County Coastside is made up of over 300 square miles of beautiful California countryside, with easy access to sandy beaches, redwood forests, and open spaces. The Coastside encompasses the cities of Half Moon Bay, Miramar, Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, San Gregorio, La Honda, and Pescadero.
