Coastal Wildflower Day is a community celebration of the Coastside’s native plants and the landscapes they call home. The event brings together local food vendors, live music and dance performances, and hands-on activities hosted by community organizations, all centered around conservation, education, and the natural beauty of the coast.

Guests can enjoy guided walks led by State Parks staff, family-friendly crafts, face painting, and raffle drawings throughout the day. Pick up an event ā€œpassportā€ to explore partner booths and earn a small take-home gift, or purchase locally grown plants cultivated by volunteers. The event is free to attend; parking fees apply, though visitors are encouraged to walk or bike in along the California Coastal Trail.

Members of the community are invited to submit local events for our community calendar.

All events will be manually reviewed by our staff before they are added to the site; most events are approved within one business day. Events occurring outside of the Coastside (between AƱo Nuevo and Devil’s Slide) will not be approved.

You’ll need to log in or register a new account to submit events.
