Flavors of the Peninsula is a week-long culinary event celebrating the diverse dining scene across the San Francisco Peninsula, including Half Moon Bay and the Coastside. Taking place from late April through early May, the event invites visitors to explore prix-fixe menus at participating restaurants, highlighting the ingredients, traditions, and creativity that define the region’s food culture.

In Half Moon Bay, the restaurant scene reflects its working coast and agricultural roots—think freshly caught seafood from Pillar Point Harbor, locally grown produce from nearby farms, and independently owned cafés, bakeries, and restaurants that give downtown its character. From casual coastal spots to refined dining experiences, Flavors of the Peninsula offers a chance to experience it all. Check back soon for the full list of participating restaurants.

Members of the community are invited to submit local events for our community calendar.

All events will be manually reviewed by our staff before they are added to the site; most events are approved within one business day. Events occurring outside of the Coastside (between Año Nuevo and Devil’s Slide) will not be approved.
