Farmer John's Pumpkin Farm

Taking a trip to the farm is always a joyful experience and Farmer John’s Pumpkin Farm does not disappoint! Years ago, Farmer John (who was once Half Moon Bay’s mayor) added a vast pumpkin patch to his Daylight Farm and a new attraction was born. In 2021, local residents Danny Lopes and Danny Bretao took over the iconic pumpkin patch, dedicated to preserving the farm’s legacy while adding their own fun touches.

Today the farm is as much fun as it is a great resource for home grown vegetables. From 250 pound Atlantic Giants to Carnival, Sugar Pie, Jumpin’ Jack, and various varieties of gourds, Farmer John’s Pumpkin Farm has much to offer in the way of pumpkins. While at the farm, why not take your family on a hay ride or pick sunflowers? It’s a great way to spend an afternoon and add color to your vacation visit to Half Moon Bay.
