Half Moon Bay Inn

My partner and I stayed one night to celebrate my birthday that included a wonderful meal at Pasta Moon. The plan was to get dressed up and over indulge while not having to drive home impaired. We arrived at 2pm and were greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk. We were offered a glass of wine which was great fully accepted. We were then shown to our room. On our way to our room we both noticed how hot it was in the building upstairs and even hotter in our room. Being in half moon bay we were quite surprised. We immediately opened the windows and turned on the fan. It took until 2AM for the room to cool off. On our return from our incredible meal, we noticed an irregular beeping sound that persisted all night. This prevented us from getting any sleep and spoiled our whole event. The room was dated with the tub needing replacement. Upon contacting the owner I was told we were not the only party to complain.... Given the attitude of the owner and the lack of any consideration for our satisfaction, I can only assume they don't care and therefore I give a rating of two.

This is just the cutest unique inn. The rooms are sweet and eclectic. They have real coffee with real mugs n glassware. A wine key and bucket. Water in multiple places. Totally pet friendly. Our room was attached to a shared courtyard which provided extra space to sit and relax. Hands down would stay again. If you can't do stairs this isn't the place for you also no AC but the cool nights with the fan and open window were wonderful. Everything is so well though out and there is a wonderful italian restaurant right next door.
